Healing Honey International’s mission is to be:
• Dedicated to excellence.
• Dedicated to bringing the best healing honeys to the worldwide market. Honeys that not only heal but are delicious. Honeys from the native flora of Chile.
• Dedicated to providing humans, their pets and livestock with healing remedies that are natural, simple and work.
• Dedicated to providing a first class program of scientific research to develop how to get the best healing results from Active H2O2NEY™.
Healing Honey International was founded by father and son team Ian and Stuart Staples. Ian is an English ex pat horticulturist entrepreneur living in the lakes region of Chile. Ian runs one of Chile's leading commercial bee keeping operations.
• Dedicated to producing the world’s best honeys
• World Class harvesting and production
• Ongoing programme of research into honey’s healing qualities
The Healing Honey Team is led by Managing Director Ian Staples who runs Rio San Pedro Farm in Chile. Ian is passionate about bee-keeping. He has built a team of Chileans who are equally enthusiastic about their work and who take regular courses in bee-keeping to keep up to date with the latest skills. Together the team has been learning about how to build the honey producing business in a sustainable and natural way.
Ian’s son Stuart is Development Director in the UK and together they work closely with the scientific research team in Ireland to promote awareness of and applications for their Active H2O2NEY™.
The vital work of the research is carried out by HHI’s scientific advisors at the Department of Applied Science at IT Sligo. The team comprises of Dr James Brennan, Head of Department (BSc, PhD, CChem, MRSC, FICI), Dr Thomas Patton (BSc, PhD,MBA) and Dr John Barrett (BSc, PhD). All three are leaders in their field and have extensive experience in microbiology and commercial pharmaceutical development.
Ian and Stuart work with John Mousell, commercial advisor, Ian Jenkins, legal advisor, and Laurie Keys, one of the UK’s leading authorities on honey over the past 40 years.
The team has come together to promote awareness of HHI’s ground breaking discovery and to develop, as widely as possible, the applications for their healing honey.
“We believe that Active H2O2NEY™ offers a solution to the medical industry as antibiotics and traditional forms of medicine become less effective against more resilient mutated bacterial and other microbial strains. Unlike many pharmaceuticals, honey has been found to have no negative side effects when used for medical purposes. Active H2O2NEY™ can also be used in addition to prescribed medication without causing any conflict – it is the natural solution to helping people stay healthy”.
